Lady at the Store.

   So, I haven't been on my blog since I was in high school! Yikes. I really wanted to start blogging to tell share about my life. First off, I can be sweet & caring, and super mean (only if you get on my bad side). I'm married at 20 years old, 5'3" & pretty petite. Husband is on his first deployment, & let me tell you, it freaking sucks.
  I moved to a small town in Kansas, where there is nothing! It's just a bunch of flat land with houses on it. My best friend lives here with her 3 kids. Who I love so much. Our husbands are deployed together. Her & the kids help me through this time of deployment. Seriously, Bree has such an amazing heart. Even if we don't agree with the same things she sticks by my side. She has brought me back to God <3 a="a" about="about" br="br" do="do" happened="happened" have="have" however="however" i="i" no="no" ok="ok" point="point" post.="post." really="really" share="share" story="story" this="this" to="to" today.="today." us="us" want="want" what="what" whole="whole" yea="yea">
  After bible study, we ended up going to the grocery store. I needed food.. .I hadn't been home for 2 1/2 weeks so my kitchen had nothing in it :( Her 3 year old kid was wanting cookies so bad!! Bree told him no, (she is trying to live healthier, pretty hard for a 3 yr old) so he got a little upset & didn't want to talk to us anymore. There was this older lady working at the store. She came up to us & told us how cute my friend's baby is & then continues to tell the 3 yr old that she has money in her pocket & she wants to know what kind of cookies he wants. He picks some out & she takes him to the register & buys them for him. It made his whole day, mine too actually. It's amazing how someone can just come up to you & give. It makes me want to do the same more & more.

 In light of this event I think i've decided to start helping out around the community more. I've only lived here since Oct. It would be nice to get more involved. I hope everyone can help someone else out. Even if it is just cookies given to a 3 yr old. It touches them & makes their whole entire day.

Art Work 2010

This was my 1st project of the year. My best friend Jessica brought me a picture of her when she was younger. I did this in colored pastels. 

This was my second project of the year. I did something that related with the Leo Zodiac. I did Simba the lion, the peace sign turns into a sun (the planet that represents the leo), The writing says Lion, and than i did a Leo symbol. The symbol is similar to my tattoo. This is done in sharpie, water color, and prism colors. 

 

This is done in paint. My teacher requested us to mix colors and everything. I'm not great at painting so this was just kind of for fun. 

This was my self portrait. The project was to draw yourself or a famous person. You had to add a tattoo design that stood out. I decided to do myself in black and white and the main part of the tattoo in color. Personally this is one of my favorite drawings this year. This is all done in pencil and prism colors. 

This was supposed to be a "medieval" drawing. I thought i'd do something cute since they believed in unicorns((: haha. I decided to have the back drop as a waterfall and sunset. This is done in prism colors. 

This was a project was done where you got a celebrity and wrote their lyrics or quotes instead of just shading or coloring. I did Miranda Lambert. I used sharpie, pencil and pen. 

This was a weaving project. I did Superman and the Green Lantern. I thought it would be interesting. I decided to just do their logos in color. This is just pencil and prism colors.

I decided to steal the OBEY symbol and do a drawing with it. 

One day i just got bored and decided to do this. I really like the way it came out. The paint in the background is kinda messy but i still like it ((:

This is a double film picture. I have Vivian in the background and the trees on top of her. I really like the way this picture came out. 

This is also a double film picture. I had Ashley in the background with a tree in front. I like that the tree is in focus more as it seems closer and that Ashley isn't as much. 

This is the original picture of Ashley. When i did the double film, I ended up flipping it around. 

This is the tree picture i used for the double film. As you can see there is a line in it. Another picture touched it so it left a spot.

Close up of my eyes (:

I really like this picture of my eyes. You can see each defined eyelash on the bottom and some on the top. I like that you can see the brown of my eyes. Also that there are parts of my hair that show up (: and i love that the eyeshadow i'm wearing matches my hair color at the time! <3

GALLERY NIGHT!!! :DDD

One of my pictures will be showing at gallery night. I'm very excited (: We are having a silent auction and all the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Cancer is something that i have been around and witnessed. My friend Jesse Briscoe had cancer and I witnessed him getting through it for a year. It is something that is a fight for your life and exceedingly hard. I am very glad that the money is going to help in finding a cure. The Gallery is on April 21st between 6-8 at Marty Seybold Gallery. (4204 SW Green Oaks Ste 100, Arlington TX)

This is a picture of my little sister. She was making a heart above her head for she could see it in the shadow. I like that i got her whole body and shadow. I love the colors and i'm glad she took pics with me (:

Jam Session

This is a picture of a singer at the Ferocious Ambush Roadhouse. The lighting was really bad and there was a lot of noise in it. Yet, I still kinda like the picture. I love that they have the Texas flag in the background and the microphone in front of him. I also like that you can tell he is really into the song because he has his eyes closed.
