Art Work 2010

This was my 1st project of the year. My best friend Jessica brought me a picture of her when she was younger. I did this in colored pastels.

This was my second project of the year. I did something that related with the Leo Zodiac. I did Simba the lion, the peace sign turns into a sun (the planet that represents the leo), The writing says Lion, and than i did a Leo symbol. The symbol is similar to my tattoo. This is done in sharpie, water color, and prism colors.

This is done in paint. My teacher requested us to mix colors and everything. I'm not great at painting so this was just kind of for fun.

This was my self portrait. The project was to draw yourself or a famous person. You had to add a tattoo design that stood out. I decided to do myself in black and white and the main part of the tattoo in color. Personally this is one of my favorite drawings this year. This is all done in pencil and prism colors.

This was supposed to be a "medieval" drawing. I thought i'd do something cute since they believed in unicorns((: haha. I decided to have the back drop as a waterfall and sunset. This is done in prism colors.

This was a project was done where you got a celebrity and wrote their lyrics or quotes instead of just shading or coloring. I did Miranda Lambert. I used sharpie, pencil and pen.

This was a weaving project. I did Superman and the Green Lantern. I thought it would be interesting. I decided to just do their logos in color. This is just pencil and prism colors.

These were just for fuuuunn!
I drew this for my friend Marcos.

This was done for my friend Chrys for his clothing company.

This was also done for his clothing company. The smoke says Repent.

I decided to steal the OBEY symbol and do a drawing with it.

One day i just got bored and decided to do this. I really like the way it came out. The paint in the background is kinda messy but i still like it ((:

film pictures :D

This is a double film picture. I have Vivian in the background and the trees on top of her. I really like the way this picture came out.

This is also a double film picture. I had Ashley in the background with a tree in front. I like that the tree is in focus more as it seems closer and that Ashley isn't as much.

This is the original picture of Ashley. When i did the double film, I ended up flipping it around.

This is the tree picture i used for the double film. As you can see there is a line in it. Another picture touched it so it left a spot.
This is a picture of Vivian outside. (:

This is a picture of my friend Chris out by the Tennis Courts. I like the lights and shadows in this pic (:

Close up of my eyes (:

I really like this picture of my eyes. You can see each defined eyelash on the bottom and some on the top. I like that you can see the brown of my eyes. Also that there are parts of my hair that show up (: and i love that the eyeshadow i'm wearing matches my hair color at the time! <3

GALLERY NIGHT!!! :DDD

One of my pictures will be showing at gallery night. I'm very excited (: We are having a silent auction and all the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Cancer is something that i have been around and witnessed. My friend Jesse Briscoe had cancer and I witnessed him getting through it for a year. It is something that is a fight for your life and exceedingly hard. I am very glad that the money is going to help in finding a cure. The Gallery is on April 21st between 6-8 at Marty Seybold Gallery. (4204 SW Green Oaks Ste 100, Arlington TX)

Sister(:

This is a picture of my little sister. She was making a heart above her head for she could see it in the shadow. I like that i got her whole body and shadow. I love the colors and i'm glad she took pics with me (:

Jam Session

This is a picture of a singer at the Ferocious Ambush Roadhouse. The lighting was really bad and there was a lot of noise in it. Yet, I still kinda like the picture. I love that they have the Texas flag in the background and the microphone in front of him. I also like that you can tell he is really into the song because he has his eyes closed.

Self Portrait

This is my self portrait. I used another camera to capture me. I like that i am reflected in the table also. And i left the cap in the picture. I don't know why but i like it there.

Around the yard

This is outside of my house on the wall. I really like what it says and I think the shadows and the white along with the brick make it stand out.

This is a little frog outside on the ledge of the little sitting area outside the front door. I think the frog is sooooo cute(:

This a picture of the lightpole outside of my house. I like that i have the tree branches and the sky behind it. It makes the pole look GIGANTIC!

Retouch!!!!

This is the beginning (original) photo of Chris Maclam.

This is the picture where i wrote down all the things that i thought needed to be fixed on the photo.
This is the finished photo. I really like how the edges are darkened so that the focus is more on him. I smoothed out the background and changed the color. I fixed his hair and the dark circles and blemishes. I really like the finished project.
This is another one i did of him. I put a texture on it. So this is my artistic one? I could have done some more with it and i eventually will and i'll post it up (: I hope you enjoy. This was an interesting, difficult, but fun project.

Sky (:

I like how the sky is 2 different shades of blue and the clouds look really whispy  (spell check :P) in some parts.

I like this picture because there is the random sign and the sky and bits of land.. .and if you look really close you can see parts of the truck in it (: ha.

There was a random little plane flying around so i ended up taking a pic of going in front of a cloud. It looks like a little speck but i kinda like it (: and the blue in the picture is very very pretty.

The blues in the picture are very captivating to me. I like how the clouds seem to make a trail behind them. Also how there are bits of clouds coming from every side of the picture.

David Hockney

This was are David Hockney project. I did a swing set because i liked the depth and longness of it. It took a while to place all the pictures together. I tried to place them as precisely as possible. I hope you like (:

Fall colors

This is a picture i took while laying down in the grass underneath a tree in my backyard. I like how the light could be seen through the leaves and everything. The wood looks very reddish and i'm glad that not all the leaves were yellow and orange yet. (:

Boots in color (:

This is another picture of my cat. I decided to have this one in color so i could catch his eyes. I love how the color of his eyes stand out against everything and i tried to capture the beauty of them.

Black and White Boots

The lighting was perfect. Especially with it slanting through the blinds and there was a lot of texture in the room. I decided to do the picture in black and white so that the color wouldn't distract from the actual subject. My cat boots thankfully stood still while i took the photos. (:

flowers

I was given these flowers for valentines day and decided to take some close up pics of them. The white with green and yellow hints give it a nice touch. I really tried to capture the beauty of the way each petal forms and goes different ways.

Jaguar-student face off

Senior Jacobe Wallace faces off with the fierce Summit High School Jaguar. I feel like the student seems to be brave by standing eye to eye with the jaguar. Which shows the pride and fierceness of Summit High School.

Snow

I took this photo Feb. 11, 2010 in my front yard. I love how the snow just capped the top of the light post. The tree behind it gives the look of nature. Also the lamp post has a reddish tint to it which i feel gives it an antique feel.  It makes me feel like i was in Narnia. The feel of the trees with just a random light gave me that thought.

Catchers

I tried to capture the action of them catching and throwing the ball. The picture is of Hunter Rekieta and Skyler Hefley.  This was during Summit Varsity Baseball practice on Feb. 2nd, 2010.
